We ARE a military-connected community. The team at PsychArmor specializes in military cultural awareness and competency. Our educational ecosystem includes online courses, podcasts, live trainings, consultation and more, all guided by clinical psychologists, Veterans, military, and leaders in the private and public sector.
Our training improves financial, social, wellness, and employment outcomes for military, Veterans, their families, and caregivers thus positively impacting the communities and organizations who want to more effectively engage with them.
Our team is made up of Veterans, military spouses and family members, caregivers, survivors, and individuals who show up every day for our military and Veteran community.

Over 30 million military-connected individuals nationwide.
These are service members, Veterans, spouses, children, parents, caregivers and survivors. They are your co-workers, customers, patients, students, neighbors and friends.
We count on them to protect our freedoms. PsychArmor aims to better support those who have served, as all military-connected individuals have.

Our cultural identities shape who we are. Each of us is a unique blend of experiences, values, and beliefs. Understanding another person’s culture strengthens our ability to connect and communicate.

The military-connected community has a distinct culture built on service, leadership, accountability, and a deep commitment to mission and team. Service members take an oath that defines their identity, and their values remain strong even after transitioning to civilian life, where they often feel misunderstood.

At PsychArmor, we believe understanding military culture is the first step in meaningful connection. Research shows that human connection is vital for mental health and suicide prevention. By understanding even a little about this remarkable culture, we transform the way our nation connects with the military and Veteran community and each of us can truly support those who have served.
How we started
History
It all started in 2013, in San Diego, CA. Founder Marjorie Morrison recognized a glaring need for military cultural competency education for all industries. Our team of nationally-recognized experts were ready and willing to step up to the plate and take on subjects like Military Culture, Mental Health, Suicide Prevention, Caregiving, Transition, Employment. Ups. Downs. Everything in Between.
We turned those discussions into best-in-class education and training. Now, we’re empowering organizations and businesses of all shapes and sizes with the learning ecosystem they need to genuinely connect with military-affiliated communities.
