Operation Finally Home is a nonprofit organization called to transform the lives of veterans. From modifications to new builds, every project is crafted to meet individual needs and provide a foundation to thrive because those who served deserve a home that serves them.
Our Mission
Honoring Our Heroes
We are steadfast in our mission because we recognize the enormous sacrifice it takes to serve. We extend an invitation for our veterans, first responders, and surviving spouses to apply today.
Veterans: When our heroes return, they deserve a place to call home. We are driven to provide them with an opportunity to make up for lost time with their families in a space that fits their needs.
First Responders: The role first responders play in keeping our nation's communities safe is immeasurable. We fight to help them feel at-home and safe in their community through mortgage-free homes and home modifications.

Our Story
About Our Founder
Our founder, Dan Wallrath, was a custom home builder in Texas for 30 years, serving on several boards in the industry and recognized as a premier home builder in the state.
In 2005, a request to remodel a home for a wounded Marine came across his desk. Dan worked with the community to provide the home modifications at no cost to the family, and Operation Finally Home was born.
Over 20 years and 500 projects later, our mission hasn't changed: transform the lives of veterans and first responders with mortgage-free homes and home modifications.
